Choir

The Blangah Rise Primary School Choir, Rising Harmonies, provides students with an enriching musical journey through choral singing. Our members develop strong vocal techniques whilst learning the importance of teamwork and musical excellence.

Through a diverse repertoire and regular training sessions, choir members cultivate listening skills, vocal control, and ensemble harmony. Beyond musicianship, the programme nurtures essential 21st Century Competencies — students develop communication, collaboration, and self-management as they learn to blend their voices, respond to one another, and perform with precision and expression.

Rising Harmonies actively participates in school and community celebrations, providing valuable performance experience. The students showcase their talents at external events including the Voices of Singapore choral festival and Singapore Youth Festival, connecting with the broader choral community. 

Through music-making, our students grow in confidence, resilience, and a sense of shared purpose. The friendships forged and the pride of performing together make Rising Harmonies not just a musical experience, but a deeply personal and memorable one.
