Scout

BRPS Cub Scouts is a programme rooted in character, service, and leadership. At every CCA session, members begin by reciting the Scout Promise and Scout Law, grounding themselves in the values of discipline, responsibility, and integrity that define the scouting tradition.

Through hands-on activities such as knot-tying, tent-pitching, track and trail, and basic first aid, Cub Scouts develop essential scouting skills through experiential learning. Working within their packs, they build critical thinking, communication, and collaboration as they plan, problem-solve, and strive towards shared goals — competencies that prepare them well beyond the CCA room.

Leadership is woven into the fabric of the programme. Through regular leadership roles, Scout Leadership Camps, and participation in school and district activities, Cub Scouts are given meaningful opportunities to develop confidence, initiative, and a sense of responsibility towards others. They also serve the wider school and community through events such as the National Day Marching Ceremony, Commemoration of Scout Founder's Day, and the Singapore Scouts Community Challenge fund-raising efforts.

Through these rich and purposeful experiences, BRPS Cub Scouts grow into resilient, adaptable, and service-oriented leaders — individuals of strong character who are ready to contribute meaningfully to their community and the world beyond.
